COUNTRY PLUS

Once again, it's been a bit since I've blogged but I took a great trip to one of my favorite places called Country Plus in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, the home and starting point of the Boston Marathon.  Judy Coffey is such a warm-hearted woman and a great friend too but her shoppe is .....well just amazing.  I have my designs there as well as some finished creations from other wonderful designers.    Just a few pictures of some penny rugs I have created as well as to the antique haven of Country Plus.

  

Wonderful placemats on a gorgeous antiqued perfect patina.......table is a mustard.  Muted green Yoyo runner over the chair and a perfectly coordinated cranberry and cream yoyo runner on a wonderful lap desk.

PRECIOUS GIFTS

I can't believe I finally have some time to sit and blog.  Life has been a whirlwind of activities, job changes, taking care of parents, sewing and stitching and being amazed at all the talent on the web and getting hooked ADDICTED to PINTEREST, anniversary of Dad's death but most importantly the birth of Jacob Perry McCaffery my first grandchild on February 17.  Thought you might like to see some pictures of the little peanut who was six pounds at birth.  My son and his girlfriend are doing a great job getting adjusted lol.  

He is such a treasure.  I can't wait to hold him and hug him.  He has brightened my life.  So what's up with all of you?

Primitives Wholesale Group

I am honored to be a part of a new Group on what else..... GRANDSON IS ONLY A MONTH AWAY

I know I haven't posted in quite some time.  My life has just been one thing after another since my Dad's death.  In December I lost my favorite Aunt...my mom's sister and so I have been spending alot of time trying to help Mom along.  It's been a rough year.  Now, however, it is time to pick myself up and try with everything I have to move forward...and moving forward is Jacob Perry McCaffery.  We don't know what he looks like but he is going to be my first Grandchild.  Right now he weighs 4.5 pounds and I can't wait to meet him.  We had a baby shower for him and my son Kevin and his Girlfriend Liz this past Sunday.  I CAN ONLY THING, THAT WHEN GOT TAKES SOMEONE YOU LOVE, HE PUTS THAT SOUL INTO A NEW SOMEONE TO LOVE.  And....that's what I am getting I am grateful.  So I will put some pics for you to enjoy.  Have a great day.  And remember. ...... when he takes one, he gives you another......
